This Frankincense – Boswelia serrata is an organic essential oil sourced from India. The name Frankincense originates from the Aramic name Labonah which is said to mean “to be white/milk” or “that which results from milking”. This is quite an amazing balsam-like sweet woody oil.

Frankincense is made from the resin of the Boswelia tree. Boswellia sacra trees are considered unusual for their ability to grow in environments so unforgiving that they sometimes grow out of solid rock.

Essential Oil Numerology

Numerologically Frankincense is a transformer. It is magical and childlike. It carries with it the innocence of a child but at the same time wisdom of all things. The magical essence of Frankincense brings faith and belief into play. It can understand the desires of the heart as well as the desires of the physical. It encourages playfulness in both spheres because we ultimately take our selves way too seriously. Life is meant to be enjoyed and not loathed as a death trap with hellfire standing at every door. This is why Frankincense is a wonderful expectorant, clearing passageways to ease breathing and feelings of lightness and relief as the burdens are lifted from one’s shoulders. When one is so burdened with the illusion of the expectations of the physical, a disconnect takes place and the ‘heart’ and ‘head’ are not in harmony with each other.

Frankincense is ultimately a physical healer in a metaphysical sense as it heals physically by healing spiritually. It is the vortexes of every little cell that spins in harmony with itself that forms a specific part of the body. So when those little physical cells are not spinning in their vortexes or in harmony there is a ‘disconnect’. This is what happens for example to the soles of the feet. When there are cracks, it means there is a disconnect as a result of ‘out of sequence’ orbital spin of the individual cells. When those ‘spinners’ are back in harmony the skin will heal itself and go back to what it was or was meant to be originally.

Therefore Frankincense encourages healing on levels where there is a ‘disconnect’. This is then why Frankincense is often used for scar tissue, stretch marks, wrinkles, etc. in aromatherapy.

In a metaphysical sense Frankincense inspires ‘normal’ behaviour’, that is, as one intended to behave when entering the physical plane. As previously mentioned, Frankincense may increase the spin of the cells or decrease the spin of the cells as required to put them in harmony, so that behaviour is ‘normalised’. This is also why it is used as a mood enhancer and stress reliever. If you behave as you are, you can only be benevolent. It is from the first source of everything, i.e. God, Source, whatever you want to call the ‘Creator of everything’, that all behaviour is projected. The contrast is allowed because of the concept of free will. If you can bring your free will into alignment with the ‘Creator of everything’, you will behave as you originally are intended to.

Jesus received Frankincense when he was born. Frankincense signified his benevolence. Through his behaviour it is evident that he was and is benevolent toward all the world. To be ‘Christ-like’ is to be benevolent. Benevolence means kind, positive, good, compassionate, thoughtful, charitable, decent, etc. This is the way humans truly want to be. If one is experiencing anything other than that, Frankincense encourages balance. Jesus was then the ultimate example of bringing the spiritual back into the physical through benevolence – hence the gift of Frankincense.
