Have a look at our Aromatherapy Essential Oil Chart to find oils that suit your requirements.
Essential oils are concentrated hydrophobic (which means they don’t mix with water – simply because they don’t attract water) liquids containing the chemicals from plants that can easily evaporate at normal room temperature.
There are many uses for essential oils.
They can be added to cosmetics, perfume or soap, or used to flavour food or drinks, and also for making household cleaning products smell superbly beautiful. It is recommended that one does not drink essential oils, unless recommended by a professional health care practitioner/doctor. Essential oils can be toxic if used incorrectly. Be sure to read our SAFETY GUIDELINES page to make sure you are using your essential oil correctly.
The most common use for essential oils is in a practice called aromatherapy. Healing effects are ascribed to the use of these oils through their aromatic compounds. Many more studies are being done that are illustrating that essential oils may be effective in treating any medical condition.
There is a lot to be said about using substances and products that affect your sense of well-being.
Good vibrations
When measuring the vibration of essential oils using infrared (IR) spectroscopy it was discovered that they have the highest frequencies of any other natural substances. The long lasting effect that essential oils have on the body create an environment in which disease, bacteria, virus, fungus, etc., cannot live.
Pure grade essential oils range in frequency from 52MHz to as much as 580MHz. There is a lot of controversy about the frequency of essential oils – research continues.
Our oils come in different grades.
Lightly inhaling the fragrance of essential oils, either by receiving a massage from an aromatherapist, diffusing it into the air with a diffuser, heating it over a candle or by burning incense, brings surprising benefits.
It is believed that a healthy body carries the frequency if between 62MHz and 78MHz. When the frequency falls below 57MHz one’s us susceptible to illness/disease.
The Biology of Belief
The scientific behaviour and interaction of frequency can be seen below
Waves can either cancel each other out, or magnify each other depending on where they interact. Even music can have an effect on ones sense of well-being. There are many studies being initiated now with recent popular quantum mechanics and frequency related issues.
